Naughty Dog has refuted that The Last of Us 3 is coming soon, but there are a few rumors that suggest the game is being worked on currently and we can expect a release in the coming years.
There have been a lot of The Last of Us 3 rumors floating around lately. In November there were speculations that The Last of Us 3 was in the making. But Naughty Dog has yet to confirm this.
Some leakers have said that their sources have confirmed that the green light has been given for The Last of Us 3 and that it will be coming soon. They have even given a release window.
According to an article on The Leak someone at Sony who had previously leaked the PS5 slim has revealed that Sony is also working on The Last of Us 3. The course said that the project is “in progress” and that they even have a release window set for when they want the game to be here.
Neil Druckman has already said that the story for the game has been written. So it seems like there isn’t much in the way.
The HBO series The Last of Us has been a hit. This means that there is even more of a reason to go ahead with The Last of Us 3.
It seems like Sony is planning to release the game on next-gen consoles. The leak has said that Sony marked the game with “PlayStation 6 in mind”. Which could mean that the game would be slated to release at the end of the PS5 era.
The information that has been leaked on this game so far seems to all checkout. Usually, AAA games like The Last of Us take around 6 years to be developed and from what has been leaked The Last of Us 3 is still in very early developmental stages.
